About the Recipe Nutrition Calculator

This tool helps you analyze the full nutritional content of any recipe by combining individual ingredients. Whether you're meal prepping, managing macros, or just curious about what's in your food—this calculator has your back.

Formulas Used
  • Total Calories: Sum of calories from each ingredient (based on weight in grams)
  • Macronutrients (Protein, Carbs, Fat): Sum of each nutrient per 100g × grams added
  • Micronutrients (Fiber, Sugar, Sodium): Total across ingredients adjusted by serving size
  • Per Serving Nutrition: Total Nutrients ÷ Number of Servings
Example
  • 100g Chicken Breast: 165 cal, 31g protein
  • 100g White Rice: 130 cal, 28.2g carbs
  • Per Serving (2 servings):
    Calories = (165 + 130) ÷ 2 = 147.5 cal
    Protein = 31 ÷ 2 = 15.5g
Why It’s Useful
  • Track calories and macros in home-cooked meals
  • Compare recipes for diet goals (keto, high-protein, low-carb)
  • Export data for diet tracking apps or trainers
  • Control sodium and sugar intake for health management
